Whether you're ordering cookies by the pound or sending a sweet gift tray, we're here to make your Palermo Bakery experience smooth and satisfying. Below are answers to our most common customer questions.
🍪 1. What products can I order online for shipping?
We currently offer shipping on:
- Italian cookies sold by the pound (available in assorted or individual flavors)
- Pre-packaged cookie trays and seasonal gift sets
At this time, custom cookie orders, cakes, and most pastries are only available for in-store pickup.
📦 2. How are the cookies packaged for shipping?
We carefully seal all cookies in food-safe bags or containers and pack them in sturdy boxes with protective padding. Trays are shrink-wrapped or boxed to preserve presentation. We take every step to ensure your treats arrive fresh and intact.
🕒 3. How long does it take to process and ship my order?
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days, excluding holidays.
After shipping, delivery times vary depending on the selected method:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days
You’ll receive tracking information once your order ships.
🌡️ 4. Do you ship during warm weather?
Yes! But during May–September, we recommend choosing expedited shipping for orders to warmer regions. Heat-sensitive items (like chocolate-dipped cookies) may be held until early in the week to prevent weekend delays.
📍 5. Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in the continental United States.
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally at this time.
🚫 6. Can I return or exchange my cookies?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final.
However, if your order arrives incorrect, contact us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
🧾 7. Can I include a gift message with my order?
Yes! During checkout, you’ll have the option to add a custom gift message. We’ll include it with your package at no extra cost.
📅 8. Can I schedule a delivery for a specific date?
We do not offer guaranteed delivery on specific dates, but if you’re ordering for a holiday or event, we recommend reaching out to us before placing your order. We’ll do our best to coordinate timing!
🧁 9. Do you take custom or large orders for events?
Yes! For custom cookie trays, party favors, corporate gifts, or large-volume orders, please contact us directly. These orders may require additional lead time and are available for pickup or local delivery only (not eligible for nationwide shipping).
